Salons & beauty

Tiers based on how often guests come back, and reminders for the ones who drift away.

Salons & beauty

In a salon a guest comes back every four to eight weeks. That gap is long enough that it takes months to notice someone has stopped coming — and nobody tells you they have left, a name simply stops appearing in the appointment book. A salon's income does not come from new faces either; it comes from the same people sitting in the same chair. The job of a loyalty program is not to replace your appointment book but to look after the space between two appointments: to tell you who is overdue, and to give the regular a reason to come back.

01

Points per service, one guest record

A haircut and a colour are not worth the same, so points are earned in proportion to what was spent, partial amounts included. The points turn into whatever you put in the reward catalogue — a treatment, a product, a blow-dry. Because points can be given an expiry, a balance built up years ago never comes back as an unexpected cost. Every transaction sits under one guest record, so history does not depend on which stylist was working that day.

02

Regulars climb the tiers

Bronze, silver and gold move up on their own as a guest passes each threshold, and each tier has its own earn rate and rewards. When the QR is scanned, the guest's tier and visit count appear on screen, so remembering who has been coming for years is not left to one person's memory. Tiers are the plain way to create privilege without discounting: you treat loyal guests differently without lowering your prices.

03

Spot the guest who stopped coming

In the campaign builder you can select guests who have not been in for a set period — those unseen for sixty days, for example — and send that group a single-use coupon or a reminder, with an end date and a usage cap. Birthday automation works the same way: the gift is issued three days ahead and a reminder follows if it goes unused. Both are set up once and then run on their own.

04

Referrals: how salons actually grow

Most new guests in this trade arrive on a recommendation, yet the recommendation is rarely rewarded. With refer-a-friend, both the inviter and the newcomer earn, and checks against fake sign-ups are built in. Because the link between them is recorded, you can see which guests are actually bringing you regulars. Return rate, revenue per guest and reward cost are all tracked in reports, with a breakdown by staff member.

05

Two seconds at payment, no change to the routine

The program does not interfere with how the salon runs; it adds one step at payment. The guest shows their QR, and the points earned, the tier and any available reward appear on screen. Nobody has to do arithmetic or decide whether a reward applies — the system says so. If the connection drops the transaction queues offline and syncs later, and training after setup is a fifteen-minute call.

How it works

01

Define services and rewards

Which service earns what, and what goes in the reward catalogue. You can see the cost of each reward before you publish it.

02

Build the tiers

Bronze, silver and gold based on visits and spend. Promotion is automatic and the guest is notified directly.

03

Turn on the reminders

The lapsed-guest audience and birthday automation are configured once and then keep running by themselves.

04

Reward recommendations

Set what each side earns in the refer-a-friend rule; the fraud checks are there from the start.

Frequently asked questions

No. Your appointment book and daily routine stay as they are. The program starts at payment: it records points, updates the tier and shows you who has stopped coming.

Yes. Every transaction is recorded under the PIN of the person who scanned it, and reports open with a per-staff breakdown.

Those who do not are signed up at the till with a phone number and their membership works the same way. If you want an app under your own brand, we publish it on iOS and Android with your logo.

Notifications only reach the audience you select, and you set the frequency. You can send yourself a test before anything goes live.
